Strength in Stride – 16 Weeks


The Strength in Stride program is designed to flow with your 16 week run training plan. There are four phases in Strength in Stride:

The Stability phase (5wks), which you start when you begin a new race training plan.
The Strength phase (5wks), which you use in the middle of your plan.
The Power phase (5wks), which flows with your race-specific and peaking run phases.
Down Week (1wk) leading into your race.

Strength train AFTER running – either immediately or later in the day.
