Delete Your McMillan App Account
You can permanently delete your McMillan app account and its data at any time.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the McMillan app and go to Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by typing
DELETEand re-entering your password.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Don’t have the app installed?
Email helpdesk@mcmillanrunning.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify and process your request promptly (typically within a few business days).
What is permanently deleted
When you delete your account, we remove — in a single, all-or-nothing operation — everything tied to it:
- your account profile (name, email, and login credentials);
- your saved calculator results;
- the athletes and groups on your roster;
- your sharing invitations and any access others granted you (or you granted them);
- any plan entitlements; and
- any pending password-reset tokens.
This is a hard delete — the data is destroyed, not hidden, and cannot be recovered.
What is not automatically removed
- Email newsletter / marketing list. If you separately subscribed to McMillan Running emails, deleting your app account does not remove you from that list. Unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or email helpdesk@mcmillanrunning.com.
- Security logs. Limited security logs (e.g., IP address for abuse protection) are retained for a short period (about 60 days) and then purged.
- Records we’re legally required to keep (for example, purchase or tax records handled by our store), where applicable.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups are removed on their normal rotation cycle.
